Instar Studio offers therapeutic massage and bodywork, private GYROTONIC® sessions, group GYROKINESIS® classes, and individual and group Awareness Through Movement® lessons. The studio is located in the heart of Carrboro and Chapel Hill's artistic community between Weaver Street Co-op Grocery and Carrboro Arts Center.

Susannah Savage is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner, licensed massage and bodywork therapist (NC #3169), and certified GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® instructor. She is also certified in the Gyrotonic specialized equipment, Pilates mat and apparatus, and is an authorized Gyrotonic pre-trainer. Her background includes a lifetime of dance and athletics and ten years as an early childhood educator. She has taught movement classes throughout the Triangle since 1997 and has experience working with people of all ages and abilities.
